The iconic red and blue Beacon Restaurant sign on Flagler Avenue

Family owned since 1985

From a Greek village to Flagler Avenue.

The Beacon Restaurant has been owned and operated by the Kotsonis family for forty years. John and Toula Kotsonis, originally from Greece, came to New Smyrna Beach on vacation, fell in love with this little beach-side town, and moved here for good.

John still works the kitchen alongside his sons, George and Demo. The hot sauce is his. So is the marinade on the chicken, the tzatziki, the plum sauce that comes with the coconut shrimp, and the rotating Greek dessert.

Year after year we keep loving what we do, and serving NSB good food and good vibes at an affordable price is our specialty. With a family-friendly room and an open-armed welcome, customers get treated like loved relatives. Whether you're a local or just visiting our beautiful town, we hope you'll stop in and eat with us.
